History

Health-Smart Limited (“Health-Smart”) was established in April 2004 to develop and market personal, interactive remote healthcare monitoring solutions. The result has been the creation of a range of sensors, patents and supporting software applications that will transform the ability of individuals to look after their own health in line with Government’s recent White Paper showing the shift towards “Health DIY”. We aim to provide better solutions for clinicians to monitor, manage and advise their patients.

Health-Smart is owned by the following leading corporations:

Software Solutions Ltd brings a number of patents and other intellectual property rights (“IPR”) developed in Israel and the UK over a 10-year period. Some of the IP has been developed by subsidiaries of Mindlife, (Ultrasis International Ltd, now known as Mindlife Solutions; and Adaptivity Devices). Other IP has been developed over the last two years and financed by Software Solutions Ltd and Interbiomedica.

University College London (“UCL”), one of the world’s leading teaching colleges, has supported Health-Smart during its early stages, through its commercial venture-arm Interbiomedica.

Interbiomedica, is a venture between CP Biomedica (part of a powerful multinational group) and UCL Biomedica, to form a company created to translate UCL’s research into commercial development for positive social and economic benefit.
